This is a remix... Listen without prejudice! I flipped this John Denver penned folk pop ballad into a scorching electronic dance piece. This is a remix..not a mash, all drums, keyboards, bass and effects samples were used to create this mix.I've always loved how remixes put artists from one genre smack dab in the middle of completely different setting, John Denver has in my knowledge never been put into this kind of setting before. Like him or not the man had songwriting skills that paid the bills... Olivia Newton-John is on backing vocals of this track. I built a chorus of my own for this.
I always thought this song rhythmically would make an excellent dance track so I did this after hurricane Katrina when I came back to town and didn't work for 3 months til my job figured out its next move. This was posted on another website but I feel like it didn't get heard the way I wanted it to. So without further ado let's "Fly Away."
